Senior Performance Testers required for Johannesburg based projects.
Candidate’s criteria
- 2 + Experience with Mercury LoadRunner.
- 1 + Experience Mercury Test Director. (Quality Center)
- Recognizes, plans, and implements changes to systems and processes when needed.
- Monitors problems and trends.
- Performs initial configuration.
- Responsible for coordinating a set of activities that constitute a testing related project.
- Responsible for the installation and ongoing maintenance of the testing tools. This may include tasks such as user management, upgrades, report generation and customization, script uploads, etc.
- Understands system architecture and determines appropriate system/server metrics to be collected.
- Understands major business processes within the system and decides which are appropriate candidates for testing.
- Understands major business processes within the system and the monitoring solution, including monitoring data, monitoring locations and frequency, user accounts, etc.
- Understands system operational requirements and designs a monitoring solution to meet them, including alert definition, configuration, transaction performance thresholds, and report definition.
- Interfaces with the Testing team and ensures that the design is compatible with the relevant frameworks and is implemented on time. Must understand the capabilities of the system to know what is achievable.
- Responsible for the design and implementation of performance tests. Interacts with both the system owners as well as the Testing team, as applications are implemented. Must understand the system architecture as well as its business function, and be able to design and implement the appropriate solution. This role is a combination of system architect, business analyst, and project manager.
- Understands system architecture and determines appropriate system/server metrics to be collected.
- Interfaces with the Testing team and ensures that the testing design is adequate and is implemented on time.
